Silly Little Stories is a collection of doodles, sayings, typography, bed time stories and other silly little things compiled by me and my wife. We’re going to be posting new stories and pics when we like, which hopefully will be quite often, and hopefully it will bring the silly in you out into the open for all to see and be silly with.

This was done in 15 minutes for my head to head Cut & Paste challenge against Justin at FirstView. I won 4 - 0 on votes. I like this one. The brief was to design a logo for a foosball competition.

A boat that’s sailing that way, with a table on top of another table, with highlighters on top of that. It’s such a load for a drawing to carry, it’s so peculiar that a stationary form of art can convey movement and meaning all with lines, shapes and color.

So, I did this a while back - like in 2009. It’s a piece of work I did with Robyn Shafto, now the Brand Manager of Caffé Java. I was only just in the area yesterday and remembered that it might still be there. And it was. So I got stoked.
